Mr. J's Hallway Reloaded

The video to the left is a recap I created of the 2006-2007 school year at Chevak Middle School. Good times! 

Mr. J's Hallway

The bottom video is the original Mr. J's Hallway from my first year of teaching, 2005-2006. The name came from a dispute between myself and my students. When I was on hall duty in the morning, I would say something like, "What are you doing in my hallway?" The response from the students generally was, "It isn't your hallway." So, I came up with a plan. I had my students all sign the papers seen in the first scene of the video. Then after they signed it, I wrote the messages in the middle. I then borrowed the monster step ladder from the janitor and hung the signs up in the middle school hallway right outside my room. The ceiling was a 12 foot ceiling and those signs stayed their undisturbed, all year.
