Resources for Teachers
A Blog For Teachers |
This website was originally designed exclusively for students. I designed it for use with my students in 2011, and it has been used by classrooms across the country ever since. I have received numerous requests from teachers looking for ideas on how to engage students with the content, particularly social studies. I launched a blog with the hope of sharing instructional strategies and lesson ideas that are sure to engage students and increase student understanding and retention of material.
Now that I have finished my doctorate, I will be devoting more time to sharing with teachers how fostering student creativity can be compatible with high-stakes classrooms. I will also be sharing about how teachers can remain engaged in their work and avoid burnout which is so common in education. |
Check Me Out on Teacher's Pay Teachers
Over the years I've had several colleagues tell me, "You should start selling some of this stuff." Well, I've finally decided that I would give it a try. The vast majority of the resources on this site are free. What I've put up on my store is specifically for teachers who are looking for some student tested resources for assessing students. You can visit my Teacher's Pay Teacher's site here.
